In 2003 he was elected and re elected in 2006 as the National Youth Leader/Representative of his Provincial Region for three consecutive years at the 6th Regional Youth Gathering hosted by Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs Youth Secretariat &
In 2004 & 2006 he was re-appointed to the Liberal Party of Canada’s Aboriginal Peoples Commission for Manitoba Region as the Vice President for Youth.
Albert is presently the new Director of Aboriginal Affairs with Young Liberals of Canada-Manitoba, and is the first person to fill this new position.
As National Youth Representative, Albert has played an active role on several committees in which he demonstrated his knowledge and diversity. He was involved and is still involved in some of the following committees:
