If you wanna fly with the eagles and the hawks at night you better be up with the chickens in the morning.

Tansi ?( Hello, How are you?) My name is Kelvin Lindskog. I'm a Woodland Cree Originally from Stanley Mission Sask.  I was appointed almost two years ago as an alternate for my region because there was no representative at the national level and that I was know for my outspoken personality and knowledge in Canadian and First Nations history. I am currently one of the two executives for the National Youth Council.

I am currently taking business and commerce classes at Northlands College in Lac La Ronge Sask. My plan for learning is to finish my degree in business and commerce then go on to finish my masters in geological engineering. I have taken one year in geological engineering. Some of my classes in business are used toward my engineering degree to so i'm killing two birds with one stone in my sling shot.

I believe in the old teaching of our ancestors. I love the heritage and culture that is still very present in our northern communities. I also love hunting, fishing and trapping, Hiking, walking , swimming, (basically being outside)Meeting poeple, travelling, reading and writing.

Being a part of the National Youth Council has taught me alot about learning to work as a unit, being part of a team, making a difference in peoples lives and also about being patient and understanding toward all issues before making an informed decision.
